Man killed for ogling neighbour’s wife
MASERU – A Mohale’s Hoek man who allegedly assaulted to death a fellow villager with a stick on suspicion that the man was trying to make a move on his wife surrendered himself to the police on Sunday.
It is alleged that the deceased arrived at the 39-year-old man’s home around midnight last Saturday uninvited.
The suspect from Ha Maphohloane is alleged to have assaulted the man, accusing him of making moves on his wife.
The following day when the suspect discovered that the victim had died, he surrendered himself to the Mohale’s Hoek Police.
He is expected to appear before court as soon as police investigations have been finalised.
