14 years on, police murder case drags

MASERU – The matter in which 16 Qacha’s Nek men who allegedly killed four men including a policeman will be heard by the High Court on August 6.
When the accused appeared in court on Monday, the court was told that the first accused in the case Maboloka Thoola has since died.
The accused who are from Ha Semenyane and Ha Edward in Sehlabathebe, Qacha’s Nek allegedly killed Trooper Lekhanya who was based in Qacha, Poi Monamatha, Khojane Mathata Monamatha and Paephele Mathole in Ha Mavuka, Sehlabathebe on July 14, 2005.
The remaining accused who are out on bail include Sekoai Moeletsi, Motebang Ramoholi, Tankiso Leseme, Mohapi Moeketsi, Thuso Morethi, Chingolezwa Mqolocha and Malefetsane Senatla Mokhesi, Letlala Sootho Monamatha, Lethusang Tleleka Clark, Motsie Mothibeli, Sidwell Mahloele, Tello Mokhesi, Liphapang Tlali, Motlatsi Ramoholi and Motlatsi Mothibeli.
