Beauty queen off to Ghana

MASERU – Miss Lesotho First Princess 2019, Refiloe Pitso will represent Lesotho at the Miss Heritage Global in Accra, Ghana on August 20.

The Miss Heritage Global beauty pageant brings together cultural ambassadors from around the world.

During her tenure as the first princess Pitso has been instrumental in supporting teenage mothers and human trafficking victims to generate income through selling handicrafts.

She has been working with the The King Moshoeshoe Film Festival Schools Film Production to capture her humanitarian work in youth development through arts.

According her manager, Rorisang Motlomelo, said the beauty queen left on Saturday.

“Although this is her first international pageant, I expect her to bring victory, but above all I am happy that this is her biggest breakthrough. This is going to open bigger opportunities for her,” she said explaining that Pitso is already a winner in her eyes due to successful on-going projects that she started in the country.
