Suspects arrested in murder of 60-year-old woman

Mohale’s Hoek- Fusi Damane a 24-year-old man and Zamkh’aya Zenzile aged 22 appeared before the court in Mohale’s Hoek last Thursday, November 7, 2019 for killing a 60 year old woman.
They will be back in court on November 19, 2019.
On November 3 this year the elderly woman was found lying dead in a pool of blood with multiple stab wounds and a slit throat.
A knife suspected to have been used to commit the murder was found besides her, Superintendent Mpiti Mopeli said, further revealing police suspect she was killed for M200 which she had earned from selling traditional beer.
“We would like to thank the public for listening to us and in helping us find the suspects. But most importantly we have to work hard to prevent such incidents from happening”, Mopeli said.
