MASERU –The Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) terminated contracts for the Lesotho National Under-17 (Bahlabani) technical team last Friday.
On Friday LeFA issued a statement announcing the termination of contracts for Bahlabani’s head coach and the technical team.
The statement read: “Lesotho Football Association would like to announce that the engagement of Mr Halemakale Mahlaha as the head Coach of the National Under-17 and his technical team has come to an end.
“LefA will make an announcement on the future at the appropriate time as it awaits recommendations from the technical director. We thank Mr Mahlaha and his technical team for their contribution during their tenure in charge of the team and wish them well in their careers.
“Mahlaha has been in charge of the team since 2016 and oversaw the last two editions of the COSAFA Championship, where Bahlabani were eliminated in the group stage in Mauritius and Malawi respectively”.
Former Bahlabani head coach Halemakale Mahlaha confirmed to Public Eye yesterday that he had received a termination letter for his contract from LeFA General Secretory Mokhosi Mohapi last week Friday.
