Woman fatally stabs lover with a beer bottle

MASERU – A 35-year-old woman from Ha Motau, on the outskirts of Maseru was arrested on the 31st December, 2020 for allegedly killing a 43-year-old man who lives in Mokhoarong, Ha Marakabei.
Senior Inspector ’Mareabetsoe Mofoka said the couple, who are said to have had a romantic relationship, were at a bar in the morning when the suspect quarreled with the victim about a lady who was starring at him. After a prolonged quarrel, the victim slapped the suspect on the face and she retaliated by stabbing him with a bottle of beer and he died on the spot.
The incident happened at Ha Marakabei.
The suspect was set to appear in court today, 4 January, 2021.
