Man kills girlfriend over pregnancy

MASERU – A 20-year-old man who lives in Ha Ts’iu, in Maseru disappeared after allegedly killing his 17-year-old girlfriend on the night of 31 December 2020.

Police spokesperson Senior Inspector ’Mareabetsoe Mofoka said the couple had an argument after the girl told her boyfriend that she was pregnant. The suspect then stabbed the victim with a knife more than twenty times, killing her in the process before disappearing.

Police are looking for him.
