Annual Moshoeshoe Walk cancelled

Maseru – The coordinators of the Moshoeshoe Walk today announced today that due to Covid-19 fears, the 15th edition of the annual event has been cancelled.
The decision was also influenced by travel restrictions imposed by the government, along with the restrictions on mass gatherings and events.
Although the decision could be disappointing to its loyal participants, the health, safety and welfare of all participants is a priority.
Despite the hardships that the tourism industry is already facing, the organisers said they hope the 2022 edition scheduled for March 10 to 12 will make a great comeback.
