DMA finally pays farmers

MASERU – The Disaster Management Authority (DMA) has finally fulfilled its promise to pay farmers from whom they had bought beans and maize on credit. 

The payments will be made today 12th October 2021.

According to a statement from the DMA, payments will be made to banks for those who provided their bank accounts while those farmers who did not provided banking details will be contacted by DMA to advise on how they would be paid.
