Tholoana crashes out of Step Up
RETHABILE MOHONO
MASERU – Yesterday was the saddest and most difficult moment for one of the top four Vodacom Step Up contestants Tholoana, who kissed the show good bye.
The soulful artiste who has performed in various functions in Maseru only made it to the top four of the Step Up Music Competition but was eliminated after she was voted out by the public.
Although she ensured that she would keep doing her music even after she was eliminated from the competition, one could feel the sadness, the disappointment from her voice that she was deeply discouraged.
Tholoana is known with her strong powerful voice that gives everyone goose bumps but yesterday as she sings Weekend Special by the late pop star Branda Fassie, the judges already felt it was a wrong song choice, which did not reflect and reveal the diva, they all know and love out of her.
Step Up music competition is almost over with only three contestants left, battling for the grand prize of Polo Vivo, a record deal and a scholarship.
The remaining contestants include, Sway code (ST6), Nthabiseng (ST6) and Tamia ( ST5) who are all desperate for votes to become the first Vodacom Step up winner.
