Gold Ls, Ntate Stunna set to collaborate

MASERU – Ntate Stunna has had a groundbreaking, history-making, chart-topping career so far. A possible collaboration with emerging talent, Gold Ls, is bound to close the year 2021 with a bang after notable isolation, self-quarantine, and loneliness due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Gold Ls, whose real name is Retšelisitsoe Au, says music lovers should brace for a mega hit which is essential to celebrate how talented artistes find ways to collaborate to bring into the industry some great vibes and get everyone through the Covid-19 era.

The trap artiste is also optimistic about making a living out of music and becoming one of the best artistes in Africa. “I just want to work more on myself; I think my music will speak for itself and, before the end of this year, I will be one of the top dogs in the country. “In my next song I will be featuring Ntate Stunna, and this will drop late in September,” Gold Ls told Life&Style.

“To all people who support Gold, I love you all and thank you guys. You mean so much to me, the support I get from friends is too much…and that is why my aim is to make life out of music. In the next year I will be the biggest artiste in Africa. “Chelete is my favourite song; I like it I because it is a hustler’s song. The message in it keeps me going. It speaks of how to hustle for money because money makes things run smoothly,” he said.

Although he is very new in the entertainment and music industry, he has observed that in the country for one to be famous and praised they have to have money. In his view the local industry has been on the rise lately. The artiste hails from Ha Abia in Maseru, though he was born in the Thaba-Tseka district at Lesobeng. He is not just a trap artiste but a performer at different clubs and occasions.

“I know I was born to do music and, yes, this is my time; so far I have three songs but this is just the beginning of great things. I am yet to release more quality songs so I am going for this collaboration with Ntate Stunna in the local scene and it is going to happen very soon. “Internationally, I dream of a collaboration with Emtee Dah Hustler from South Africa,” he added. The only challenge he has encountered so far, he said, is money. Because without money he is unable to book a studio and record his songs and shoot music videos. “I come from a poor family but it is going to be over soon.”
